Completing the forms
Please provide as much information as possible in the personal details fields as we use this information when we print your membership card. If you have no medical conditions and are not taking any medication, please indicate this by completing the field with “None” and if you have no allergies, please indicate this by completing the field “None Known”.
Membership Fee Payment
Annual Membership Fees are R190 if you are 16 years or older and R120 if you are younger than 16. Once you have completed the form, you will be taken to a screen that provides you with our banking details as well as the reference required on your payment so that we can easily trace your payment on our bank statement.
Activation of Your Membership
On completion of your Membership form, an email will be sent to you immediately on the email address you have provided on your form. This email will contain a copy of the details you have provided, please verify that the details contained in the email are correct.
Should there be any updates or changes required, please notify us within 24 hours as these details are used to print your membership card. If you do not receive your welcome email, please contact the membership team at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Your membership will be activated as soon as we received your proof of payment. Once payment is made please email your proof of payment to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or fax it to 086 680 1140.
We will confirm receipt of payment by return email.

Your bank reference is imperative. Please use the following reference when making payment: MEM/name - where "name" is either your forum nickname or your initials and surname (without spaces).
Membership Cards
Your new membership card will be prepared as soon as we receive confirmation of your payment, and will be posted to you by registered mail within 2 weeks. We have taken this precaution to ensure that all membership cards arrive safely at their destination! Confirmation of your tracking number will be emailed to you when it has been posted.
This tracking number can be used to track your card's postage progress online at www.sapo.co.za (https://sms.postoffice.co.za/tracking/parcel.aspx) or by calling the SAPO Call Centre on 0860 111 502. Please note that it takes SAPO between 24 & 48 hours to update their system with your tracking number and that the letter should take between 4 to 9 days to reach you.
Once SAPO has confirmed letter arrival at your local post office, you can use then this tracking number to collect without having to wait for a white slip.
Should your registered letter being returned to us as an unclaimed item, we will notify you of this via email and arrange collection if you are in the Johannesburg area, or we can repost the card to you at a fee of R20.
